Copy and Print Services
Color copies or transparencies can be made from either print or digital images. Images can be printed from floppy disks, CD's, and zip disks
Copy sizes range from standard letter size to full poster size, depending upon magnification.
Lamination and dry mounting are available for sizes ranging from letter size to full poster size.
AV staff is available to advise you on the best methods for these copy/print services
Equipment and Booth Services
A broad range of equipment is provided for the campus community. There are 9 booths with video playback equipment, audiocassette players, video editing, and other equipment. Video cameras are available for use as well. The department also has LCD projectors, computers, and DVD/VCR players for classroom use. In addition, it services audiovisual installations across the campus, including the new G Building.
AV Booths
Equipment is available for student use in the department's nine booths.
It is available on a first come, first serve basis. It includes:
- VCR playback, recording, and editing equipment
- CD and audiocassette players
- Camcorders on mobile tripods
- Slide, overhead, and opaque projectors
Presentation Equipment
Presentation equipment is available for student use in the classroom when written permission is provided by the instructor. The equipment can be picked up prior to class and must be returned immediately after class. You are encouraged to come by ahead of time and ensure that your presentation runs on our equipment. This equipment includes:
- VCR and DVD playback equipment
- LCD projectors
- Slide projectors
- Computers with Microsoft XP software
Multimedia Collection
The AV department also has a multimedia collection including videocassettes, DVDs, laser disks, audiocassettes, CDs, and records. It can be accessed through the library's Sandy Pac catalog,and using the AV fields at the bottom of the page.
The department has a full time staff that is available to assist you with your AV needs.
A current Mesa ID card is required in order to use our media or equipment.
